Providing curators tools to improve processes and drive user engagement

Verizon are a company that offer a vast range of products and services. This project focuses in on their TV product offering. Specifically how to improve the way they curate the content for the platforms.

Verizons TV products include their older Fios TV boxes, a web and mobile app experience, an OTT box and their upcoming, future facing FCL product. These products are largely curated from a CMS called ‘Console’.

Currently, the console is entirely focused on pure curation offering little in the way of insight and data. There was an opportunity here to change this and give curators a wider set of tools that will ultimately help them effectively curate the products and drive user engagement.

Challenge

Expand the curation console to include a data dashboard showcasing key KPI’s and integrate the ability to conduct multivariate testing across the various Verizon TV products.

Outcome

We evolved the console workflow to create a much more data led approach. This allowed curators to easily optimise their products and critically it helped shape Verizons wider curation and licensing strategies.
